+How Does VirtualPaint Work

VirtualPaint uses computer simulation and virtual reality to provide a training system that effectively and efficiently trains spray technicians by providing instant feedback. Years of research and testing has allowed VirtualPaint to simulate realistic spray operations while still allowing technicians to use equipment such as the instrumented spray gun. No more waiting for coating to be mixed, parts to dry or materials to be provided.   

 

The versatility of this system allows new and experienced technicians to gain benefits from use. First of all, technicians are able to control spray settings as normal on the spray gun. Target mil thicknesses can be set to allow the technician to change their techniques to meet the target.   

 

VirtualPaint tracks all of the necessary data to evaluate performance. Visual representations of transfer efficient, mil thickness and the amount of paint used can be viewed on the screen. Technicians can also use accumulation mode to view the exact thickness of their spray. This mode breaks down the color into shades of blue, green and red allowing the technician to evaluate all aspects of their spray.
